Importance of Pelvic Muscles
Did you know ancient women managed their period without high quality sanitary products?
In Japan, women who lived in ancient times wore kimono regularly. They usually did not wear underwear. They only wrapped a small cloth around their hips under the kimono. So how did they manage their menstrual bleeding?
They only put a small cotton ball in to the vulva. Do you think this small cotton ball could hold the bleeding?
No, it’s not possible.
So the women controlled their bleeding by tightening their muscles. Which muscles? Their pelvis muscles. They tightened their pelvic muscles just as we do when holding our bladder. Do you think most of us could control menstrual bleeding by tightening our pelvic muscles? Maybe not. Because we rely on high quality sanitary pads and don’t feel the need to control the bleeding.
As a result, our pelvic muscles become weaker and weaker when muscles aren’t used. When muscles are weak, blood flow is poor and the pelvic muscles and abdominal muscles become cold, the body cannot regulate body temperature. Then the womb located just above the pelvic muscles becomes cold and that is often a cause of many troubles for women.
Today many of us suffer from menstrual problems such as heavy bleeding, intense cramping, headaches and severe PMS. Some of us even suffer from PMDD(Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) and other issues.
What is the solution? Going to a clinic and taking pills? Or just endure the pain? No it won’t resolve the root cause of the problems.
I was one who suffer from menstrual problems and I had PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder). I suffered for many years and I even left my country to seek for solution to my problem. After many trials and errors, I developed “Womb Yoga” in 2014. I realized this method would solve many problems which women chronically suffered.
“Womb Yoga” solves those problems. “Womb Yoga” builds your pelvic muscles just like the women in ancient times. “Womb Yoga” improves and strengthens your inner system.
You don’t need to suffer anymore.
