What's Womb Yoga
If the symptoms are mild, we rely on over-the-counter medication available at neighborhood drug stores. When the symptoms are severe, often we women have no choice but to go to a clinic or a hospital for treatment. But what do doctors do? They ask a few questions, do a perfunctory exam, and give us bagful of pills – painkillers for the cramps, aspirin for the headaches, hormone pills for regulating the cycle, anti-depressants for depression and an additional drug for our upset stomach, the one we got from taking all the pills.
After we take the medicines, we of course feel better, that is, until the medication wears off. Then we take some more because we have to go back to work, we have to take care of our family, we have social commitments with our friends, etc.. Taking pills becomes a way of life. It is the only way we can be free of pain, so we keep taking them. However, is this the only remedy? Is constant dependency on an assortment of drugs the only option available?
Can we really live healthily, freely or happily popping pills? No, definitely not.
It leads to a chronic dependency and even addiction but it does not treat the fundamental issues. One cannot find the answer as long as one seeks the solution outside.
True solution has to come from within. It has to be built up within.
The true solution is building up physical functions and the immune system. That is the only way to be free from the symptoms. How do we do this? The answer is a new yoga which I call “Womb Yoga”. It is a type of yoga which I developed specifically for women, to find a lasting solution.
I was one of those women who commuted regularly to a hospital for my bag of pills. I had PMS and severe symptoms of PMDD for which my doctor prescribed many drugs including SSRI-antidepressant, tranquilizer and hormonal pills . The relief was temporary and each time the medication wore off my symptoms became worse.
After I developed “Womb Yoga”, I noticed dramatic changes in myself. I began teaching these techniques to other women and I saw many benefit from practicing these methods. It helped them recover from chronic problems and hormonal imbalance. Their overall health and posture improved in a big way. Not only did they change physically, their attitude changed dramatically. They became more cheerful, outgoing and forward-looking. They started to live more healthily, freely and happily as if they were reborn.
“Womb Yoga” changes women’s lives.
