I started my career as a professional dental hygienist and a dental assistant. I worked in Japan, the US and Canada from 2000 to 2008. I developed PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) around 2006 and went to see many doctors. I even flew to Canada in 2008 seeking a solution to my illness.
During my stay in Montreal I decided to stop taking medicine completely since I couldn’t find any improvement by popping pills and instead I self-studied about natural remedy, alternative remedy and nutrition. I also practiced yoga. It changed my life style dramatically. I realized that my PMDD problem had gone away after practicing intense yoga and other methods for more than a year.
I went to a yoga ashram for 6 months in Tennessee, USA in 2010 to improve my knowledge of yoga. I completed Isha Yoga master program and was inspired by Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation. After I stayed in the US, I decided to travel to India and stayed at Isha Yoga Center in Tamil Nadu for 6 months in 2011 to learn more about yoga and spiritual practices.
I studied various theories that ranges from medical to spiritual, to understand what exactly contributed to the cure of my PMDD problem after I returned to Japan. Then I focused on unraveling how yoga works on PMDD. I established my own method that enhances self-healing power and the immune system without depending on pills to cure physical and mental disorders caused by PMS and hormonal trouble. Many people across Japan come to learn my original method. I also developed this unique “Womb Yoga” as physical practice.
